Hilton Q4 2026 Promotion: Up to 3,000 Points Per Stay

Hilton Honors has opened registration for the Hilton Q4 2026 promotion, officially called “More Points to Play.” For stays completed October 15 to December 31, 2026, you earn 1,000 bonus points per stay, or 3,000 at about 800 listed luxury, lifestyle and resort hotels.

It’s smaller than last year’s 2,500-per-stay offer, but it runs right up to December 31, the day Hilton locks in your status for 2027.

Hilton Q4 2026 Promotion: What You’re Getting

At 0.4–0.5 cents per point, that’s $4–5 per standard stay and $12–15 per resort stay: small, but it adds up over short stays.

The Fine Print That Actually Matters

• Register before you check out. Stays completed before registration earn nothing.
• Check out by December 31. A stay ending January 1 earns no bonus.
• The 3,000 list is by hotel, not brand. Check the eligible property list first.
• Bonus points never count toward elite status.

Strategy: How to Maximize the Hilton Q4 2026 Promotion

1. Register today, even with nothing booked.
2. Think in one-night stays. The bonus is per stay, so splitting a 4-night trip across two hotels doubles it. Back-to-back bookings at the same hotel count as one stay.
3. Pick listed hotels when rates are close (within about $10 a night).
4. Stack it with your elite bonus (Gold 80%, Diamond 100%, Diamond Reserve 120%), co-brand card earning and any targeted offers in your account.

Keeping Your Hilton Status for 2027: The Rules Changed

Hilton’s elite year ends December 31; the tier you reach by then lasts through March 31, 2028. Three 2026 changes matter:

• Lower bars: Gold is 25 nights (was 40), Diamond 50 (was 60).
• Spend replaced base points as the third path.
• No rollover nights. Extra 2026 nights won’t carry into 2027.

Gold and Diamond need any one path; Diamond Reserve needs nights or stays plus spend (Hilton tier benefits).

The Math: Count Nights and Stays Before You Buy

Example: you’re at 42 nights across 19 stays and want to keep Diamond. You need 8 more nights or 6 more stays:

Close the Gap Before December 31

Order early; anything posted after December 31 doesn’t count.

Chasing Diamond Reserve? The $18K Spend Gap

Nights alone can’t buy Diamond Reserve. Our Hilton Honors Qualifying Spend service adds eligible spend at $500 per $1,000 through partner hotels’ suite, banquet and event bookings. It posts in 2–4 weeks, so order by late November.

Gap Too Big? Skip Straight to Status

If closing your gap costs more than instant status, buy the status. Both are activated through Hilton’s Elite Status Gifting program within 1–2 business days.

The trade-off: earned status runs through March 2028, while instant status runs 365 days from activation and adds no nights, so no night-based milestone rewards.
