Hyatt Q4 2026 Promotion: 3,000 Points Every 3 Nights (Up to 36K)

World of Hyatt has launched its fall global offer, and it is simpler than anything Hyatt ran this year. The Hyatt Q4 2026 promotion pays 3,000 bonus points for every three eligible nights between September 29 and December 15, 2026, up to 36,000 points. There’s no minimum stay, no first-stay exclusion, and award nights count.

It won’t change where you travel. It will, however, pay you for the nights you were going to need anyway, and for anyone short of Explorist or Globalist, that makes the next ten weeks the cheapest window of the year to close the gap.

The Hyatt Q4 2026 promotion pays 3,000 bonus points for every three eligible nights between September 29 and December 15, 2026, up to 36,000 points.

At roughly 1.5 cents per Hyatt point, the bonus works out to about $15 per night, or $45 for every third night. That’s modest, but it’s more flexible than Hyatt’s summer 2026 promotion, which capped out at 8,000 points and ignored your first stay.

Here is what the bonus is worth as your nights add up:

The Fine Print That Actually Matters

  • Register before your first night. Nights completed before you register earn nothing. Reservations booked before registration are fine, as long as the nights happen afterward.
  • Award nights count. Points redemptions and free night awards are eligible nights.
  • Bonus points don’t count toward status. Only base points count toward elite tiers. Your nights still earn their normal tier-qualifying credit.
  • One room only. If you book multiple rooms, only the room you occupy earns the bonus.
  • Book partner brands through Hyatt. Mr & Mrs Smith, The Venetian and Homes & Hideaways stays booked elsewhere don’t qualify.
  • It stacks. The offer combines with other promotions unless those offers say otherwise.

Strategy: How to Maximize the Hyatt 3K Bonus Points Offer

1. Register today, even with nothing booked.

It takes under a minute, and missing registration is the one mistake you can’t fix after checkout.

2. Count in threes.

The bonus triggers at 3, 6, 9 nights and so on, so a stranded night or two is wasted. If you’re sitting at 2 or 5 nights, the next night effectively comes with a $45 rebate. Factor that into the price when deciding whether to extend a trip by one night.

Why the Hyatt Q4 2026 Promotion Is the Best Window to Lock In 2027 Status

World of Hyatt’s elite year ends December 31, and status earned in 2026 stays valid through February 28, 2028. The promotion closes December 15, so nights completed between now and December 15 are the last ones this year that earn both elite night credit and bonus points. After that you can still qualify, but without the extra 1,000 points a night.

TierNights in 2026What you keep through Feb 2028
Discoverist1010% bonus points, preferred room, 2 p.m. late checkout on request
Explorist3020% bonus points, room upgrades excluding suites, 2 p.m. late checkout
Globalist6030% bonus, daily breakfast, club lounge access, upgrades including standard suites, 4 p.m. checkout, waived resort fees, free parking on award stays

Globalist is the prize. Breakfast and lounge access alone can be worth more than the cost of qualifying on a single week-long trip. There are three ways to get there, depending on how far away you are.

Path 1: A Few Nights Short → Hyatt Mattress Run

If you’re within about 18 nights of Explorist or Globalist, our Hyatt Mattress Run service posts real qualifying nights to your account at $53.50 per night, with no travel required. These are paid stays under your World of Hyatt number, so once you’ve registered they earn the Q4 bonus like any other night.

Say you’re at 45 nights and want Globalist:

Line itemCalculationResult
Mattress Run nights15 × $53.50$802.50
Q4 promo bonus15 nights ÷ 3 × 3,00015,000 points (~$225)
Net cost after promo~$577.50, about $38.50/night

Because these are real posted nights, you reach 60 genuinely, which means Hyatt’s night-based Milestone Rewards at 50 and 60 nights still fire. The 60-night milestone includes a Category 1–7 Free Night Award and two Suite Upgrade Awards.

Path 2: A Long Way Off → Instant Globalist (Challenge + Nights)

If you’re 19 or more nights short, buying nights one at a time costs more than the shortcut. Our Instant Hyatt Globalist Elite Status service ($998.50) enrolls you in Hyatt’s Globalist Challenge and completes the 20 required nights through our mattress run network. You get Globalist valid until February 2028, with no stays of your own.

The timing works in your favor. If you register for the promotion first, the 20 challenge nights that post before December 15 also earn 18,000 bonus points (~$270). Processing takes 25–30 days.

One condition: your account must not have registered for a Globalist Challenge in the past three years. If it has, Path 1 is your route. Our Aeroplan challenge guide covers other options.

Path 3: Not Chasing Status → Guest of Honor Award

If you only have a trip or two left this year and don’t want to requalify, you don’t need the status at all, just the benefits on that stay. A Hyatt Guest of Honor (GOH) Award applies Globalist privileges to a reservation of up to 7 consecutive nights. That covers breakfast for up to two adults and two children, upgrade eligibility including standard suites, 4 p.m. checkout, waived resort fees, and free parking on award stays.

GOH works on both paid and points reservations, so it pairs well with the promotion. A 6-night holiday resort stay on points earns 6,000 bonus points and gets the Globalist experience for under $90. Note that GOH can’t be combined with Suite Upgrade Awards or free night certificates.
