How Does Friends & Family Rate Work?
After completing your purchase, you’ll be added to a Hilton employee’s account system. You can then access the Go-Hilton Website using your Hilton Honors credentials to make bookings independently at the special Friends & Family rate. The process is simple, secure, and gives you complete control over your travel arrangements.
Understanding FFTP Availability
How Inventory Works
FFTP and TMTP rates are released based on each hotel’s forecasted occupancy. When forecast occupancy reaches 90%+, both rates close. Below 90%, the gap is allocated 1/3 to FFTP and 2/3 to TMTP — e.g., a 100-room hotel forecasted at 81% releases 3 FFTP rooms and 6 TMTP rooms. Hotels may also release additional EXTRA FFTP / EXTRA TMTP inventory at their own discretion (same discount, doesn’t count against your allocation).
Booking Tips
– Use Flexible Dates calendar view (set 1-night search) to see day-by-day availability
– FFTP is 50% off BAR, so savings are largest at high-tier properties (Waldorf, Conrad) where BAR is high
– Hotel-hop within a city if no single property covers your full trip
Limited Availability
HGV and most LXR properties don’t participate. Some properties may set FFTP minimum pricing above the standard 50% off BAR.
